Team | Rank | Record | Trending | Comments
| Rangers | 1 | 1-0 | - | The Rangers offense started off poorly, but their strong pitching was able to carry the team until former MVP Josh Hamilton and Ian Kinsler picked up the slack and led the team's offense to victory. |
Indians | 2 | 1-0 | - | The Indians looked very impressive in their opening week with a strong offense led by Matt Kemp who looks like hes on a mission to show everyone he deserved the MVP last year. Once Sabathia turns it around and Wainwright regains his pre-injury form, this will be a team to be reckoned with.
Cubs | 3 | 1-0 | - | Carlos Pena, Ryan Braun, and Adam Jones form a three-headed monster that combined to put up some very impressive stats. The pitching was okay, but once Darvish gets acclimated to pitching in the states it will be a strong staff.
Reds | 4 | 1-0 | - | Many people were suprised when the Reds took Freese in the first round of the draft, but its definitely looking like a smart decision right now. Freese has picked up right where he left off last October and is looking like a true fantasy stud.
| Tigers | 5 | 0-1 | - | This is one of the top offenses in the league and Cespedes looks to be the real deal. Verlander will be an ace like always this year and the rest of the rotation is pretty solid. Losing Fister was a tough blow, but when he comes back this team will look great. |
Braves71-0-Jason Heyward looks like he's discovered his form from his rookie year which makes this a dangerous team. Once Reyes starts hitting, it'll greatly improve the team's average. As for their pitching, it feels like Hanson will be the key to whether or not this team can be a contender. If he can stay healthy, he's an ace who will carry the staff.

Rays80-1-Don't be fooled by their record, this is a great team. They are in what could turn out to be the league's best division, but they'll win plenty of games and be a contender by the end of the year.

Nationals91-0-Losing Morse and Drew is a tough blow, but they were still able to pull out a win in a nail-biter that came down to the wire. It should be interesting to see if they call up Harper later in the year to help for the stretch run.

Mariners101-0-The Mariners have a very talented rotation with aces like King Felix, Kershaw and Pineda. There's no doubt that Pineda will turn it around and once he gets healthy and regains his velocity, there will be no stopping him. As for the offense, A-rod and Ichiro bouncing back will be the key factor in whether or not they are able to contend for a playoff spot.

Phillies110-1-They may have lost their first matchup, but they've faced injuries to their two offensive studs Howard and Utley. They'll have to rely on Joey Bats, and the big three in the rotation to carry them until later in the year. Once Howard and Utley return, this could be a very strong team.

Royals120-1-Their staff will look very good once they all get back into the swing of things. Lidge was a great pickup and should be a great source of saves early in the year. The offense has a lot of young stars and as they mature this team will be a fun one to watch.

Giants130-1-The numbers may not show it, but the Giants have three of the best young pitchers in the league. The offense wasn't too strong, but once Granderson gets back in the groove of things, he's definitely talented enough to carry the team.

Rockies140-1-Unfortunately for the Rockies they had to open up against one of the top teams in the league. Their showing wasn't particularly impressive, but with guys like Teixeira and CarGo this team will be fine.

Marlins150-1-The Marlins surprisingly had a weak showing at the plate. With guys like Stanton, Fielder, Hart, and HanRam the offense will be a powerhouse and could be one of the best in the league. The pitching looked solid even though JJ struggled mightily.

Astros160-1-J.D. Martinez looks like he can be a real fantasy stud and when paired with Michael Young, Berkman, and Reimold they have a pretty good lineup. It's gonna be tough for them to make the playoffs, but they have the talent to do so.
