Team | Rank (LW) | Record | Trending | Comments
| Rangers | 1 (1) | 2-0 | - | The Rangers went out and had a dominating week and got the first shutout in DKDL history. Hamilton is off to a ridiculous start and led the offense's impressive showing. |
Indians | 2 (2) | 2-0 | - | Matt Kemp is playing so well it doesn't seem like there's any doubt he is now the best player in baseball. He along with Encarnacion led to the team to a huge win over a playoff contender.
Cubs | 3 (3) | 2-0 | - | The Cubs had a great week getting a victory against a top team in the league. The offense did pretty good, but the real stars of the matchup came from their pitching. Romero and Gallardo dominated the competition and led the team to an easy victory.
| Tigers | 4 (5) | 1-1 | The Tigers barely squeaked out a win this week. The offense had a poor showing, but the solid pitching from last year's AL MVP and Humber's perfect game led to the team to a win. | |
Braves | 5 (7) | 2-0 | After a slow start to the year, Freddie Freeman quickly put to rest any worries of a sophomore slump. He led the team in every offensive category. As long as the Braves stay healthy, specifically Hanson, this will be a playoff team.
Reds | 6 (4) | 1-1 | Despite their loss, the Reds put up some solid pitching and hitting stats. Unfortunately for them, they had to face one of the top teams in the league and lost. It'll be interesting to see if they can get back on track against the struggling Rockies.
Rays |

Red Sox8 (6)1-1It was an overall tough week for the Red Sox. Nothing seemed to be going right for them as both their hitting and pitching struggled. They've been bit by the injury bug though and I fully expect them to be in contention for the division title at the end of the year.

Nationals9 (9)2-0-Even though they are 2-0, the team hasn't put up very impressive numbers. Studs like Strasburg continue to dominate, but Pujols stands out as a big problem. Once he figures it out though, the Nats will be in good shape.

Mariners10 (10)1-1-The Mariners continue to struggle on offense, but their pitching has been outstanding with the third best ERA in the league. They have a tough matchup this week against the undefeated Rangers, but if they continue to pitch like they have been, they have a chance to pull the upset.

Giants11 (13)1-1After a tough first week, the Giants came out and put up great numbers across the board. Granderson has come alive after a slow first week and the pitching looks great. Keep an eye on Lincecum though as the Giants playoff hopes depend on him turning his season around

Phillies12 (11)0-2The offense continues to struggle without Howard and Utley. The pitching has been great, but if the offense doesn't come alive soon the Phillies may put themselves in a pretty big hole before their two stars return.

Royals13 (12)0-2Unfortunately for the Royals, they picked a bad time to have a poor week as they faced the Rays. The team's stars like Upton and Gordon are off to very slow starts and its hurting the team. However, it's still early and this is one of the youngest teams in the league. They'll be fine once Upton wakes up as he's talented enough to carry a team.

Rockies14 (14)0-2-The Rockies came very close to getting their first win of the season, but fell short in a close 5-6-3 matchup to the Giants. They pitched pretty well and the hitting wasn't bad either, but they need guys like CarGo, Trumbo, and Young to start hitting HRs if they're gonna be able to compete with other teams.

Marlins15 (15)0-2-They had an okay week, but if they're gonna start winning games they'll need Stanton to wake up and start hitting some bombs. If that happens, the Marlins will have a solid lineup.

Astros16 (16)0-2-It was a bad week for the Astros as they were the victim of the first shutout of the season. They hit pretty well, but their pitching killed them. They're going to need to improve it if they want to make a run at the playoffs.
