	Rangers	1 (1)	1-0	-	The defending champs started off the year the right way easily taking care of their division foe Tigers 9-3-2.They've been hit by the injury bug losing 4 key players already, but you wouldn't know it from their week. The offense was solid led by Hamilton who looks like he's starting to regain his old form.
	Cubs	2 (2)	1-0	-	The Cubs had a pretty damn impressive pitching week as they came within 1 QS of tying the previous league record. Their ERA wasn't as good, but it didnt matter as the offense led by Goldschmidt picked up the slack by hitting for power.
	Rays	3 (3)	1-0	-	To put it simply, the Rays pitching staff was dominant this week. They had 5 starters throw two quality starts en route to setting a new record for QS in one week.The offensive showing was pretty weak, but on the bright side it looks like Stanton is going to have a monster year after last year's disappointing season.
	Giants	4 (5)	1-0		San Fran took care of business this week easily taking out on of the league's worst. However, the numbers they put up were good enough to beat just about anyone else as well. The homegrown Brandon Belt looks like he finally gonna live up to his potential this year and lead this offense to a deep playoff run.
	Marlins	5 (4)	0-1		Last year's surprise team did not look good in the opening week. They almost pulled off the win losing 6-8, but the numbers just weren't there. It will be interesting to see if last year's season was just a fluke or if this team is here to stay.
	Braves	6 (8)	1-0		After last year's somewhat disappointing season it was nice to see Atlanta start things off on the right foot with a win over last year's division champs. The pitching was forced to carry the load as the offense looked sluggish. Heyward looks lost up there and the Braves will need him if they hope to retake the division crown this year.
	Red Sox	7 (6)	0-1		It was not a good start for Boston losing 3-10-1 to Tampa. With the pitching week that Tampa had they had no chance to win those categories, but the offensive showing was pretty weak. Yeah, they hit for average, but they're gonna need to start hitting for power if they want to make some noise this year.
	Indians	8 (7)	0-1		After a slow start last year almost kept them out of the playoffs last year it would've been nice to see Cleveland start strong. Unfortunately that didn't happen. The offense was putrid putting up a .192 average and comparably weak 4 HR. This is not the way they wanted to start their season.
	Nationals	9 (10)	1-0		It was an easy week for the Nationals as they took care of the Phillies 10-2-2. After just missing out on a playoff berth last season Washington is gonna do everything it can to make this year. Defeating last year's wild card team is a good start.
	Royals	10 (11)	1-0		Kansas City surprised many people this week pulling the upset over Cleveland. Although they didn't make the playoffs last year they finished just under .500 and only 0.5 games out. This is a talented team and based on their acquisitoin of Kemp it looks like they're gunning for a playoff spot this year.
	Astros	11 (12)	1-0		After a very streaky season last year Houston had a nice start to the year beating up on the weak Mariners like they should have. It was a collective effect on pitching and offense as no one player stood out, but they still put up solid numbers at the end of the week. Houston will try to keep it up against the dangerous Rangers.
	Phillies	12 (9)	0-1		After new ownership took over after the all star break last year, this team made a surprising late run and won the wild card. Unfortunately he was forced to resign and the team was once again handed over to someone new. This was not the start the new GM was looking for though. The offense was fine, but it's pretty easy to wonder what the hell the GM is doing on the pitching side.
	Rockies	13 (13)	0-1	-	If Colorado is planning on making the playoffs for the first time in their history they are gonna have to start beating playoff teams. Granted, Chicago is always one of the most talented teams in the league, but the Rockies still have to put up better numbers if they want to win. They'll try and bounce back against the talented Giants this week.
	Tigers	14 (14)	0-1	-	Another year another new GM. This team has always had talent, but never had a smart enough to GM to help lead them. Time will tell if the new ownership has what it takes to help this team return to the playoffs. They put up some solid numbers last week, but solid isn't gonna cut it if you want to beat the top teams in the league.
	Reds	15 (15)	0-1	-	A another team with a new GM, the Reds didn't start the year off well getting embarrassed by San Francisco. Not surprisingly, the offense struggled after the team sent away Matt Kemp and Justin Upton in the same week. However, they were able to pick up some talented prospects so the future may be bright.
	Mariners	16 (16)	0-1	-	Talk about an ugly loss. Not only did they win just one category, but the numbers they put up sucked. The offense was weak and the pitching was trash. Not owning a draft pick until the third round doesn't help their rebuilding effort.
