OF. Colby Rasmus: (3/3) 2012-2014. $0.443M

Indians get:

OF. Ichiro Suzuki: (1/1) 2012. $17M

The Mariners accept this deal because we are no longer in contention this year and we do a few things by processing this trade. We get a younger player who is a lot less money and has a longer contract. This also opens up some cap space for future moves.
